$260 CAD in Northwest Cameroon

CAMAAY’s Dynamic Women planting maize and corn

Hi Everyone! This is my birthday fundraiser update regarding funds used in Northwest Cameroon in collaboration with the Cameroon Association of Active Youths (CAMAAY)

Here is a breakdown of how the funds were used… $260 CAD or approximately 11,000 XAF (Central African CFA Franc):

30000 XAF – Renting farmland for CAMAAY’s Dynamic Women group for one year

20,000 XAF – Purchasing seeds (maize and beans)

10000 XAF- Purchasing two agricultural hoes (ploughing tools)

40000 XAF- Adding two orphan children to CAMAAY’S child sponsorship program (picture above), providing food and hygiene supplies.

I wanted to share these details to not only be transparent about how the funds were used, but also to demonstrate that these donations reached those in need and have made a difference. $260 CAD goes a long way.

I would like to thank those who donated:

Jennifer Krausewitz, Jenny Greidanus, Irene Galea, Marina Chavarría Alvarez, Glenn Williamson, Hayley Preece, Victoria Kay, Johanna Krebs, Sharon & Andy Hockin, Caroline Boccia, Jenna Lehocki, Vikram Sainadh, Amanda Reynolds, Haiden Vollebregt, Eve Moss, Karlee Vizi, Brian and Ann-Marie Fernandez, Paul and Christine Richardson

Please follow CAMAAY’s instagram page (@cameroonyouth) which I have created and manage as CAMAAY’s Resource Person. Consider donating to CAMAAY’s projects on GlobalGiving. Also, feel free to share this post!

Thank you!!!
