Diary Entry // LOCATION: Copenhagen, Denmark
It’s a beautiful sunny day in March (surprisingly). On my way to meet some friends for brunch at GRØD I decided to walk through Superkilen park. Located about a 10 minute walk from where I live, Superkilen is an interesting piece of urban landscape architecture in Nørrebro. The design represents the ethnic diversity of the area, it appeals to all age groups and entertains a variety of activities such as biking, boxing, skateboarding and rollerblading. The bench swings are popular, and a perfect place to eat a shawarma or kebab from a restaurant or stall along Nørrebrogade. The shapes, colours, lines, greenery and paving of this park make it a unique addition to the area.
